The 1082 Distance Measuring Proximity Sensor is designed to work with any vehicle, including all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). The proximity sensor will read the drive shaft universal joints (cast iron joints only), or it can be used with the P/N 1084 targets.
The targets are mounted on the inside of a wheel rim, and the sensor reads the targets as the wheel turns.
