Automated Signal Trailer

The Automated Signal/Flagger is a portable, solar system for work zone traffic control. It combines red and yellow signal lights and a gate arm. These trailers can be used in either single or double configuration.

On-Board Controller

Controls signal lights and monitors system for signal lamp failures, conflucting signals and power issues. An independent mircro controller controls the gate arm function. The 4 line LCD displays:

• Signal trailer voltage
• Instructions for changing programs
• Program in use
• Lamp failure
• Signal Conflict
• Radio signal status

Power Supply

• (3) 12 volt Deep Cycle 115 amp hour batteries
• SP-80 solar panel and charge controller
• 110 VAC 10 amp battery charger
• 110 VAC connector (accessible outside the lockable battery cabinet)

Signal Lights

• (1) 12" red and (1) 12" green 12 Volt LED

Remote Control

• Switches for Signal Sequence and Emergency Horn
• External Antenna for extended operational distance
• 18,400 mAh, NiMH battery pack for 2-4 year operation

Trailer Frame

• 48"L x 52"W 2"x4" welded tubing frame, painted Federal orange
• 40"L 2"x4" steel tubing tongue with 2" x 4" steel tubing braces and 4" riser for 2" ball hitch coupler
• Telescoping signal light mast, 2" x 1.5" steel tubing with braking winch
• 12 volt trailer lighting system
• 2500 lbs. rated axle and 13" tires
• (2) swivel-screw style jacks for leveling
